This week on Cyberwalker Mondays: Spyware, Overheating PC's, Card reader and hard drive troubles.
Every Tuesday I appear on AM 640 Toronto (640 AM) on The Stafford Show. Mike Stafford is a good friend and long time host on the station and I started doing 30 minute live tech help calls (no prep, seat of the pants) with him in early 2005, then I was forced to take a break because of my schedule, but now I am back.
If you listen live on the Internet, the show airs Tuesdays at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.
- Andy will be vacationing in France and is expected to return in two weeks.
- There may be a second edition of Andy's book .
- The new Cyberwalker website will be launching in October. See a preview of it HERE
- Tony has a problem with his computer not recognizing his hard drive.
- Keith can't get his computer to recognize his USB card reader. He may need to find new drivers for it.
- Chris has an older PC with an overheating problem. He should watch Lab Rats Episode #23 and learn about cleaning his computer.
- Dan called to ask for some advice about buying and external hard drive and enclosure.
- Ken was having some spyware problems. Andy recommended the following:
