Here are some tips to help you better work with us. Thanks for your cooperation and help on these issues. Quick menu:
Please send all press releases to our assignment desk at pr@cyberwalker.com. Text of the release should be in-line and not an attachment. As a policy we do not open attachments we are not expecting. Please do not fax us releases. All assignments are handled through one desk at Cyberwalker Media, so please do not send multiple copies addressed to each staff member through this address. If you need a name for your mail merge program to use with this address please use "Dreyfus Leflar". If we don't call or e-mail you about a release then we're probably not interested in the item. However, personalized e-mail direct to Andy Walker at the above e-mail address with FOLLOW UP in the subject line will be reviewed should you feel that you have something to add. We do not publish a traditional editorial lineup, however when we are seeking sources we send detailed requests to ProfNet for distribution to PR pros. When responding to these, please be targeted. Here's great example of how someone really annoyed us with a misguided pitch. Product
shipment: Please provide high resolution JPEG images of all shipped evaluation products to admin@cyberwalker.com as attachments. Assume images will be reproduced at 150 dpi or better. So if you send us an image that measures 300 x 400 dpi, be aware that it won't be useful for print publication. Images that are 1,000 x 1,000 dpi (assuming a square image) should do the trick. If you want a free image editor that can open your image and measure the resolution, we recommend IrfanView. Download it here. When you install it, open your image and click the Image menu and then click Resize/Resample to see the pixel sizes measure in dots per inch (dpi). Should you want the product returned after an evaluation period please provide a return shipping waybill and courier account number with the shipped product and specify in your cover letter that you want the product returned. We don't have a formal editorial lineup at Cyberwalker Media, however, to find out what we are working on you can sign up for the Cyberwalker PR Insider newsletter whch lists sources we are seeking. Click here to sign up and choose "PR Insider" from the left side of the screen. Publication Dates and Tear sheets: Since we publish to multiple outlets we can only provide the primary publication date and outlet by e-mail. If you need a tear sheet, we recommend that you obtain a copy from a news clipping service such as Bowdens.com.
