FAQ: Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer |
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
This article is part of the Cyberwalker XP SP2 FAQ. Internet Explorer, the free web browser that comes with XP, has a few problems solved with SP2. Check out the IE Add On Manger in Internet Explorer’s Tools menu. This lets you manage the add-on programs (like toolbars and other extra programs) that IE uses. It’s a good place to go in the event that you get a browser hijacker installed or other spyware or adware. IE also has a pop up ad blocker. You’ll find it in the Tools menu under the Privacy tab at the bottom.Here’s a web site with more info about SP2 and its new features: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
